Overview / What is IPO?

An IPO, or initial public offering, is the process by which a privately held company begins issues shares to public investors, thus becoming a public company listed on the stock exchange for trading.
Blackwell Global offers its qualifying clients the ability to participate in selected IPOs in the Hong Kong ('HK') market via the HK public share offerings from their account.

How to Apply for HKIPO

In order to subscribe for a HK IPO, you will need to open an account with Blackwell Global. Click here to open an account.

Clients can access the list of all the active IPOs by logging into the mobile app via “Available IPO” and selecting the IPO they wish to subscribe to.
Prior to subscribing for the share(s), Clients must read the prospectus and supporting documentation to confirm their eligibility before proceeding.

Financing

For eligible Clients, Blackwell Global offers up to 90% of the value of subscribed shares, thus leveraging their buying power. For example, if the leverage ratio is 10:1, clients must have available equity equivalent to at least 1/10th of the total value of the shares they are applying for.

Please note that for offerings on HK IPO, we strictly do accept any other forms of electronic transfers except for bank wire transfers.
